10 Turns Offs on a Dating Profile
As a Christian girl, it’s been hard to meet somebody who shares the same views and morals in the dating world. It seems the world has turned into a soulless, moraless and nasty place. But as one who is not willing to compromise her values, that has made my dating life pretty unfulfilling and unmeaningful.
Since I don’t want to be single forever, I turned to trying out a dating app for the first time in 2021 since at the time, COVID had made dating much more difficult.
One thing I learned very quickly is: dating profiles are like resumes, if they don’t stand out, you won’t get a call back.
I would describe myself as a kind, easy going, thoughtful, adventurous, hardworking, genuine, good person. I have high morals and standards for myself and the guys I date. I want to find someone that appreciates that and puts in the same amount of effort.
The first dating app I tried was Hinge. On Hinge you get 6 pictures and 3 written prompts. With my profile, tried to make the most of those spaces to highlight the most important areas of my life and put my best foot forward.
